Remixes!

Seems like it’s been a while since we did any remixes for anyone.

We decided to fix that.

First, we remixed Stereospread, who if you’re not familiar are a just killer (and very prolific) electronic pop band out of North Carolina. Sort of in that vague Delerium/Conjure One kind of vibe. Sort of. They’re their own thing, really, so go check ’em out.

We remixed their track “Run” as sort of a summer jam kind of thing.

Then we took a crack at the new track “Hush Hush” from Madison’s own pop star Annabel Lee. She recently just swept the Madison Area Music Awards, taking home 5 (!) of the plaques, and it’s easy to see why. It’s infectious stuff, immaculately performed.

I heard the diva wails in “Hush Hush” and immediately knew I had to do a straight-up, 90’s house mix. I pulled out ye olde TX81Z “LatelyBass” patch, the Korg M1 rave piano, the Rhodes, the 909’s, the percussive organ, the Roland Space Echo. Toooo much fun.
